Overview (Getting Started)
In 2008 a few students from the Dundalk Institute of Technology came up with a brainchild, the idea was to have a mini-marathon run in aid of local charaties. With many months of careful planning, organisation and countless meeting with local businesses and authorities we are pleased to announce that our first ever mini marathon has been organised and will start outside of Dundalks Institute of Technology front entrance on Sunday, March 29th 2009 at 2:00pm. It will be held in aid of the North Louth Hospice

All about the event...

| Distance: | 10 kilometres |
| Start: | Front Entrance of DKIT, Dublin Rd |
| Finish: | Corner of by-pass, Dublin Rd |
| Age Limit: | Participants must be at least 16 on day of mini-marathon. Children between 12-16 must be accompanied by adult |
| Fee: | €10.00 (if registered before day of event) €15.00 (if registering on day of event) |
| Water: | There will be a water station located at the corner of the red barns road and the point road (see map) |
| Medal: | Each participant wearing a number will receive a medal at the finish line |
| At Finish: | Once you receive your medal, continue moving towards the baggage area |

Registration is €10.00 and there will be one more registartion day held at the Marshes Shopping Centre in Dundalk on Saturady March 28th, 2009 If you wish to register on the day of the event, regisration will cost €15.00. To enter the Dundalk IT Mini-Marathon, you can also print off the form found on the right, please complete the form and send it to the below address before Wednesday, March 25th 2009.
